Browntown Hospitality

In 2011 my wife and I purchased a 100 year old building in our city’s historic district. Our desire was to create a private dining establishment and small scale event space that felt just like home to our guests. The dining room was the centerpiece of the space and featured a long rustic table that seated up to 16 guests. The venue was primarily used for intimate, specialty dinners. Adjacent rooms on the first floor were adorned with handcrafted wooden built -in cabinets and fine detailed custom carpentry. We utilized these spaces as a bar room for pre-dinner cocktail receptions and expanded gathering places for corporate parties and tasting events. The focus was service at the highest level - every dining experience marked a special event - anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, and retirement parties. Everything from menus and signage to the musical playlist were curated specifically for each client. The atmosphere made each client feel like they were special guests, and our goal was to offer a dining experience they couldn’t get anywhere else. In 2014, the business expanded to a public Sunday breakfast, casual grab-and-go all natural food products, packaged goods sold through area retailers, and off-site catering services.
